A working station and a place to visit
Dunedin Railway Station is one of the city's best-known heritage landmarks, but it isn't simply a monument to the past.
Today, the station remains an active visitor destination and working railway station, with scenic trains departing throughout the year alongside businesses, exhibitions, events and public spaces within the building.

Scenic trains still leave from here
Dunedin Railway Station is home to The Taieri Gorge and The Seasider.
Seasonal and special journeys also depart at selected times throughout the year, bringing everything from evening experiences to family events and collaborations onto the railway.

A place where journeys begin
